Novasak's Prepared Bass
An 1996 Ibanez TRB70. Here's what is sounds like. Audio

The bass was gutted and a new D'marzio J Pick up was installed.
The old PJ pickups are re-attached to the back of the headstock and next to the birdge.
These function as magnetic noise devices, not much else.
A metal Slinky is added to the bass and contact mic'ed.
The electronis are modified by adding a N567 oscillator inline with the main pickup. Also an LPB-2 is used as a preamp.
The P cavity houses a Lumivox Photo Theremin and the 9volt battery.
The theremin is controled with volume over the strings, and pitch at the base of the neck.
Each device uses a separate output, routing is endless.
Lots of stickers, tape, glue, epoxy, and imagination hold this together.
